Trading with a player

Click a player and choose trade. You must stand at most 20 studs apart, and the invitation waits 30 s.

  • Each of you puts items and gold on your side of the window.
  • You both click “Accept”. Any change on either side cancels the acceptance.
  • After accepting there is a 3 s countdown, then “Confirm”. The trade happens completely or not at all.
  • Only unbound items can be traded. A Scroll of Unbinding unbinds an item.

Auction house

The auction house in the Merchants’ Hall works across servers: you list an item for gold and someone buys it at once, with no bidding.

  • Listing costs a deposit of 1% of the price. It comes back with the payment; if you cancel the listing, you lose it.
  • The house takes a 5% fee from the sale.
  • A listing lasts 24 or 48 hours. You can have 20 listings per character at once.
  • Gold from sales and items you bought arrive by mail.

Mail

You collect mail from Auctioneer Selma, also after you come back to the game. A parcel waits 30 days, holds up to 10 items, and an account can have at most 100 parcels.

Merchants in the city

Every merchant buys items at their value. The value and the merchant price of every item are in the item database. Items that cannot be sold and locked items stay in your backpack.

Loot in a party

Gold from a monster defeated by a party is split evenly. Each item is rolled separately among the members nearby: if the item is for a specific class, players of that class get it first, and if nobody has that class, everybody rolls. Materials and herbs are rolled among everybody. The party chat tells who got what. A loot bag stays on the ground for 2 min.
